Project NECME Palermo

NEW FORMS OF EUROPEAN CITIZENSHIP IN MIGRATION ERA Palermo, 21–25 May 2017, meeting took place in the frame of the project. Delegates participated at workshops with local administrators responsible of the welcome policies of migrants, prosecutors dealing of persecution of human traffic connected with migration phenomenon, multicultural associations and lawyers who support immigrant in their integration path. On the 23rd May a National seminar in AULA BUNKER with the President of Italian Republic, Italian Minister of Education, Italian Minister of Internal Affairs, Italian Minister of Justice, magistrates and local and international law enforcement took place to commemorate 25th anniversary of Giovanni Falcone. March from Aula Bunker to the tree in memory of Falcone, so called “Falcone’s Tree” followed in the afternoon.
